Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response

Xcel Sports Medicine is committed to the safety of our patients and employees. We are following the CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.

In an effort to keep your visit as safe as possible we are enacting the following procedures:

  • Limiting the number of therapists and patients in the building at one time.
  • Practicing social distancing of staff and patients.
    • Patients are adequately spaced throughout the building, during treatment to keep at least a 6’ distance from one another.
    • We are limiting patients in the gym to keep distance and allow adequate time to clean equipment.
  • Disinfecting all surfaces between patient visits and throughout the day. A thorough cleaning is done at the end of the day and between shifts.
  • Wearing masks is a requirement of all employees.
  • Checking temperatures of each employee at the beginning of their shift.

While Xcel is taking these measures to ensure safety, we ask each patient and visitor to do the following:

  1. Take temperature before your visits. We have non-touch thermometers at each of our clinics and will be taking temperatures before your appointment.
  2. Answer the travel and potential exposure questionnaire at each appointment and notify our front desk if you have travelled recently, been exposed or not feeling well.
  3. Exercise proper hand washing or using disinfectant (germ gel) before your appointment begins.
  4. We ask that all patients and visitors wear masks during their time at our clinics.
  5. At this time we ask that only our patients enter the building, without guests, unless they are a minor or have a special circumstance requiring another adult.
  6. Practice social distancing in and outside of our clinics.

Xcel Sports Medicine remains open to serve and treat patients. We continue to offer early morning and evening appointment times to accommodate your schedule. Our manual therapy approach remains a priority in our treatment plans including dry needling and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization procedures.

We want your experience with us to be as normal as possible in this new normal of COVID-19.
