Falls are frequently related to unhealthy balance systems. Good balance requires functioning sensory (ears, eyes, and body awareness senses) and muscle systems (strength and coordination) in the body, as well as proper strategies for reclaiming a loss of balance.
In our balance rehabilitation therapy, we examine the reasons for your unique balance problem, and design a program which implements training for those parts which are weak, support for the entire system, and education in the prevention of falls in the home, work place and community. Increasing your independence and reducing risk of injury due to a fall is the goal.
