In general, these programs are referred to as "fixed" rather than "dynamic". A fixed strength and conditioning program means that every athlete (regardless of age, sex, sport, experience or personal goals) performs the same fitness program as the other. Because the program is "fixed" and all athletes perform the same exercises, a relatively inexperienced staff member can supervise the athletes. The hospital may staff the program with uncertified and inexperienced staff with little or no real experience in strength training. At Xcel Sports Medicine we believe that no two athletes are alike. So we design a personalized program for each athlete based on athleticism, assessment skills test, age, sex, sport, and personal goals. Each athlete is monitored by an Exercise Physiologist who is nationally certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has years of experience training novice, amateur, collegiate, and professional athletes. This "dynamic" sports performance training helps each and every athlete "Xcel". © Copyright XcelSportsMedicine.com Top of Page |
